FRIDAY JULY 1st, 2011 – CANADA DAY PARTY 8pm till late

Canadian Flag Embroidered by Jeffrey Jensen, Brooklyn, NY

It’s Canada Day, which if you don’t know this already, falls on the 1st of July. Tonight from 8 till late we will be having a party at Wombleton celebrating Canada Day. We’ll have lots of Canadian beer, a rotating cast of DJs playing their favorite Canadian artists / tunes, hopefully a few friendly Canadian faces (including my own) and maybe even some “Safety Dancing”. BYOBeavertails! We are also adding a special “Canadian Corner” to our record shelves a section / genre featuring exclusively Canadian artists. Feel free to bring your fave Canadian LPs or 45s to get in on the DJ action.

Here’s a few relatively obscure Canadian punk / new wave classic to get you in the mood:

  1. One benefit of the iPhone 6 , at least in its non-Plus edition, is that it is a good bit smaller
    than most flagships nowadays.

  2. If it’s an area breaking story, people who are physically near the story may see it appear in the Breaking News application automatically.
